“This is an excellent excursion! We were picked up on time from Sissi, by a smaller van which then drove us up to the main road to meet the big coach, as the roads were too small for the coach. We then had ample time in each location for an explore and something to eat or drink. Spinalonga itself is an excellent trip, and we were free to explore the island on our own for an hour and a half. “Communication leading up to the booking time was clear and precise. It was well organised from the moment you arrive at the meeting point. The swim was beautiful. Please note the boat does not go to land for the swim but they drop anchor in the bay and you swim off the boat. Good historic information from the guides on the island while there with plenty of time to look around. The boat trip was very smooth and enjoyable. The food on the boat has limited selection but nice tasting food at reasonable prices. Recommend this tour as it’s a great price for a full afternoon.”

“The island is incredibly beautiful! It's definitely worth it to walk to the beach on the other part of the island to get a view of the Crete island and the turquoise water. But the boat trip wasn't that great. We were there at 10 am and left at 11:15. The crew waited for anyone who wanted to join. Considering the Coronavirus regulations, you could say the ship was overcrowded.”

“The day trip was fantastic. We had Elena as our guide and it was a great mix of sense of humour and very informative. The bus driver and boat transportation was all the the utmost safety and care. Spinalonga has great history, Kolokytha bay was picturesque, amazing swimming and really good bbq lunch and Agios Nikolaos is a great stop with the lake in the centre of town. Only improvement would be for slightly more free time in Spinalonga as there was only enough time to do a loop of the island or climb to the top rather than being able to do both. “It was a great day trip! Our guide Soula was amazing and told us a lot about the history of all the places we visited. Our driver Nikos was very experienced and handled the narrow streets like a pro! We drove around the Lasithi Plateau and had some nice stops for pictures. The tour through the olive oil factory was also very interesting. There are two different tours, one including Knossos Palace and one without (check the description of the tours).
