Great thing was we were given 1,5 hour in the city of Arachova so we could explore a little bit and also eat lunch in one of the taverns there (we had no lunch option so I don’t know if the provided one was good or not). “Delphi is an amazing important site in a magnificent setting , an absolute must visit, but our tour ran very late due to the bus getting stuck in an alleyway in Athens ( illegally parked van) and then terrible traffic on the way out. “Iris was an excellent guide - super friendly, patient and knowledgeable! Everything was smooth from start to finish. It was easy to find the meeting spot and get on the coach which was very clean and comfortable. There was a service stop along the way. “First, plan on a 11+ hour day, not 9 hours. When they say it starts at 8:00 am, that means they need to pick up the last group by 8:00 am. So our pick up time was 7:30 am and then we didn't get back to our hotel until 7:00 pm. The guides were pretty good. The guide on the bus was nice, but she didn't bother using a microphone until someone kept saying they couldn't hear her. The bus ride is long, hilly and with lots of twists and turns. Our bus driver was pretty aggressive. So if you get motion sick easily this might not be for you.…”
