These are the best Zakynthos tours covering both, plus the caves, the viewpoints and the quieter west coast. Each entry lists the price, the length of the day and whether the boat time or the road time dominates.

“We loved this tour! Our guide Denis really made an effort to make sure we saw the turtles, he was great at providing everyone with an opportunity to take photos everywhere we went and he made us all laugh plenty. The views were amazing - beautiful caves and beaches and lovely swimming stops with plenty of time to enjoy it all! The only issue we had was actually finding where the meeting point as it wasn't very clear on the app who the provider was and the pin on the map wasn't very helpful.”

“The drive to view all the beaches is unnecessary. You go back on yourself so many times just to view something for a few minutes. Very long day starting at 8. The boat ride is another experience, it is amazing. The guide gives you all the information you need. The swimming points are fantastic. The water is so clear I could see even when it was deep. Plenty of photo opportunities.”

“It was great we were off the cruise ship early and they were waiting there at the dock. We had a great time. The driver of the boat was very nice but didn't really give us lots of info about the caves or the turtle island. We did see a few turtles. Would be nice if within the info that they advise when they stop at the beach that there is food and drink and you need to bring money (cash and credit cards are accepted). Several people on the trip didn't know and didn't bring any money with them.”

“Although there was a slight delay at departure, we were notified in advance and the captain was keen to accommodate everyone. We were also lucky to spot a few turtles, although in July they already leave the area because their eggs are hatching. The caves and the sea are simply beautiful and having time for a quick swim and an hour on the beach at Marathonisi (Turtle Island) was great.”

Porto Vromi boat trip to Navagio shipwreck and blue caves, with snorkel gear and 3 swim stops for about $36.

“The trip was okay. Our schedule was changed from 1pm to 2pm, with no issue for us but seems like they squeezed two groups into one as some of travellers were struggling to find a place to sit. The boat was a bit old and very loud. We didnt really know where we going, we couldn't leave to boat to get to the Navagio beach with no explenenation why (even if the organiser advertising the trip showing people on the beach next to the wreck). Nothing much to add, its okay trip but 3 stars from us.”
